It's the first Friday of Spring and Garage Sales will be popping up everywhere! I love a good bargain so I am quite ready after a long winter of not much bargain hunting (in the way of garage sales that is!) My first really cool deal of the season thus far is a solid oak, made in Germany, Regulator clock with the most BEAUTIFUL sound when it its the hour and half hour! It was actually headed for the trash. I just happened to be driving by this house when the lady was cleaning out the garage. I asked her "What about the clock? Your keeping that. Right?" To my udder amazement, she said "Nope." You can have it and handed it to me. I figured there must be something wrong with it and she said "Nothing. It works fine. I got it from my boss and it's not my style." Okay. FREE!!! WOOHOO! What a way to start the season!
